About PoliceCase Toolkit
My Mission
PoliceCase Toolkit was created with a singular goal: to enhance and enrich the roleplaying experience, particularly for those involved in Criminal Investigation Department (CID) scenarios and civilian interactions. I aim to provide a comprehensive set of tools and resources that make roleplay more realistic, engaging, and enjoyable for all participants.
What It Offers
- Detailed guides on UK legislation relevant to criminal investigations
- Templates for realistic police documents and reports
- Resources for civilian roleplayers to create authentic backstories and scenarios
- Tools to streamline the creation of complex crime narratives
- Forums for roleplayers to share ideas and collaborate on storylines
Who It Serves
The toolkit is designed for:
- Roleplayers portraying CID officers
- Civilian roleplayers looking to create more authentic characters and scenarios
- Game masters and scenario creators
- Anyone interested in learning more about UK criminal law and police procedures
My Vision
I believe that by providing accurate, easy-to-use resources, we can help create more immersive, realistic, and engaging roleplaying experiences. Our vision is to see roleplaying communities flourish with rich, complex narratives that are grounded in real-world procedures and laws.
AI
I am a programmer and infrastructure engineer. I like building things, but not making them look pretty so yes, AI has been used to build the front end of this site. I didn't "vibe code" the whole thing, almost all of the backend is my own work. I have had this site in many different forms for over a year, way before AI vibe coding was a thing and these files are still stored on my VPS. Not everything on this site is AI.
TL;DR: Yeah, AI was used. 99% of the styling and UX/UI was done with the help of AI, I ain't a designer and I am a programmer. To make it look nice I used AI to fill this gap. Overall almost all of the JavaScript and functionality was made by me.
