Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PoliceCase Toolkit (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Important

The Service is intended for fictional roleplay, training and lawful entertainment use only. You must not use any templates or generated output for illegal purposes, fraud, impersonation, or to mislead others.

1. The Service

PoliceCase Toolkit provides tools to create fictional, roleplay-oriented materials. The Service is not affiliated with any real law enforcement agency, government body, transport operator, utility provider, local authority, or other organisation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts

  • You may create an account with a username and password. Adding an email address is optional, but password resets require an email.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information to the extent you choose to provide it. Do not provide information you do not have the right to use.
  • We may force a password reset, suspend, or terminate accounts to protect the Service or other users.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the Service or generated output for any illegal purpose, including fraud, impersonation, or deception.
  • Present generated output as genuine, official, or issued by any authority or organisation.
  • Enter, upload, or save real personal data about real individuals (including names, addresses, account numbers, identifiers or images) without a lawful basis and consent where required.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, access other users' data, or perform credential stuffing, password spraying, or brute-force attacks.
  • Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, or otherwise interfere with operation or availability.

5. Saved Evidence and Your Content

If you use the "Save to account" feature, the Service stores an exported image and associated metadata to your account. You are responsible for the content you create, upload, or save.

You retain any rights you have in your own content. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service and providing it to you.

6. Administration and Enforcement

Administrators may access accounts, saved evidence, and security logs to operate the Service and keep it safe. We may remove content, delete saved evidence, or delete accounts at our discretion, including where we suspect prohibited or unlawful use.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, templates and branding (excluding user content), is owned by the site operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

8. Availability and Changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version on this page.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (in whole or in part) immediately if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service unlawfully. We may delete stored content and security logs in line with operational needs and our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local laws provide otherwise.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Please review Privacy Policy.

15. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: if any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No waiver: failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
